WE HAVE A 135 W/ DEISEL ENGINE. WE HAVE HAD THIS TRACTOR TORN DOWN 8 TIMES. IT BUILDS UP PRESSURE AND BLOWS AN O RING AROUND THE STEERING COLUMN. IT IS A 1974, 1975 OR 1976 YEAR MODEL. HAS ANYONE HAD THIS PROBLEM? WHAT SHOULD WE DO NEXT? IT HAS BEEN A VERY EXPENSIVE PROBLEM THUS FAR. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW I COULD CONTACT THE MFG TO SEE IF THERE MAYBE WAS A DEFECTIVE PART THAT HAS BEEN RECALLED? ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. WE HAVE SEVERAL ACRES OF HAY TO TAKE CARE OF AND CAN'T AFFORD TO BE WITHOUT THIS TRACTOR EVERY COUPLE OF WEEKS.
THANKS,
MARY

Need more information. What O ring? Is it related to the power steering?

I HAVE AN EARLY TO MID 70'S M/F 135 WITH MANUAL STEERING. AS YOU WOULD EXPECT THERE IS 30 YEARS OF WEAR ON THE FRONT SUSPENSION AND THE STEERING IS VERY HARD. THE FRONT WHEELS ARE TOED OUT AND I KNOW CONTRIBUTES TO HARD STEERING AS WELL AS PROBABLY WORN STEERING KNUCKLE BUSHINGS. THE STEERING SECTOR BOX HAS WATER IN IT.WHAT IS BEST WAY TO GET THE WATER OUT AND SEALED? nEED INFO BEST AND MOST ECONOMICAL WAY TO MAKE THIS TRACTOR STEER EASIER. THIS A DIESEL. THANKS FOR HELP.
