Am purchasing a 72" commercial-duty finishing mower to pull behind my tractor (45 HP). Land is rolling hills and flat. Have cleared the area with a bush-hog the last 2 years and will maintain now with the finishing mower. Still a lot of rough areas remain. My question is what type tire to put on the mower, either pneumatic or solid. It is fairly heavy at 600 pounds. The dealer recommends pneumatic, as it is easier on the mower, but I don't want to chase flats all the time. Any thoughts or suggestions. Thanks.
