: Can anyone help me with the part number for a grease seal for a front wheel on a MF 135, 1960 model. I live in an area that is completely devoid of MF dealerships. If I can get the no. I hope to get seal from an Industrial supply house. Vernon, There's a bit of confusion on this one. My Massey 135UK parts book lists it as 897 242M1. The National seal cross ref is 2153, but no dimensions are given. One supplier (aftermarket) lists the 135 US seal as 883 342M1. This crosses in the National catalog to 8521S, 1.873 x 2.684 x .544 . My British Vapormatic catalog lists the 135 seal as 897 702M1, or VPJ2805. It also lists the 897 242M1, VPJ 2807, which crosses to 833 342M1 . How's that for confusion? Both are under $6 Cdn. Best bet is to get the dimensions as closely as possible and run the above numbers by your supply houses to see which are the closest match. You can send me an email if you wish me to check further.
