What is the HP rating for a 1982 3 cyl Perkins Diesel in this 1982 MF 240 tractor- 38? 40? 42?

My problems is engine blow by on a 290 machine that has less than 2000 hours on it. The liners and rings were changed but still getting some blow by that seems very unusual. Any ideas? Thanks.

Lowney advises:hi sir,
The MF 240 was rated at 34 pto hp at 2000 rpm,just as the
MF 230 it was replacing.The model 250 was rated at 40 pto
hp at 2250 rpm by Massey Ferguson.And there was the MF
245,rated at 42 pto hp at 2250 rpm... Lowney
