Does anyone know of a ROP's that would fit this tractor? I have never seen one on these early tractors. Has anyone ever fitted one or made their own? What I am really looking for is a easy way to get both the ROP and FOP for large falling branches. Will build one I guess if no other way. I have a Davis loader on it.

ROPS off of most any M.F. from 65 h.p. down will fit the 35. Check around you may be able to find one that some one has taken off, in this part of the country you can find them where they have taken them off to use the tractors in peach orchards. I pick them up ocassionally for $250-$300 for factory made ROPS. : Does anyone know of a ROP's that would fit this tractor? I have never seen one on these early tractors. When I first got my MF-135, I shopped for an ROPS (Roll Over Protection System, e.g. roll bar). I found them pricey $2000 and up. MF could supply. This year I bought a JD 4020 and the ROPS for it surely is strong enough for a 135 and it was only $475... There's always the question if not factory whether its truly strong enough to hold up tractor and accesories when impacted rapidly. I'm sure that adds to the cost, but JD seems to have the idea that they'll be sued less if they make them reasonable.

If you do an internet search on ROPS you should find some extension reports from Wisconsin on them given sources and prices from three or four years ago.

Hi,

This time it is my turn to ask,

What's a ROP and a FOP ????? ?????

Your language may seem a bit hard to understand from time to time.....

To the rear: ROPS= Roll over protection system.
To the front: FOP= Falling object protection.
The two together with roof protects brains.
What you would see on the Kubota B21's and L35's.
Like cage on a Cat.
Thanks for all the help!
