Saw an ad in the Sunday paper from a tractor dealer that included a 135 diesel with 870 hours. I thought "yea, right". So after church I drove by to look!

The tractor was as clean as any used tractor I've ever seen. No dents not even a bad leak. Must have been shedded since new and the owner may have even washed it after he used it, it was so clean. Not a new paint job mind you, just clean and well maintained.

No multi-power and no power steering. Good looking tires all around.

The meter did have about 870. hours and when I raised the hood to look under it, the owner had used masking tape to record the hours at oil/filter change. The tapes started at about 100 hours and went to about 799 hours.

Looked like the dealer got it with a Tufline disk, MF plow, one cultivator and one cultivator with planter.

Just couldn't believe the tractor was that old and that clean!

It was at the Ford dealer in Tupelo, MS.

What kind of a price was the dealer asking for this cream puff?

To be honest, I didn't ask! I did call however and the owner had recently died in the nursing home at 94 years young. His wife had died in the nursing home about two or three years earlier!

Dealer said he sold the tractor and equipment to the same individual.

Except for the lack of power steering, I believe the buyer got a good, solid tractor!
