I just bought a Massey Ferguson 135 tractor from Canada. The serial number reads 15064 and has labeled underneath made in United Kingdom,Coventry ,England.Would anyone know of any pros and cons of this make and what the year it was produced in.This tractor has a Perkins deisel and is equipped with differantial lock.

Very few problems - an all time classic, watch multipower on hills if fitted it free wheels in low setting. power steering can slip out of adjustment giving one way steering as on all Masseys. Parts are readily available, The modern 240 is just an update

U.K. models never had multi-power as far as I know which is a plus, they did though have a heavier front end and a heavier clutch. These features made them one of the better 135's as far as I'm concerned.
