MF 65 Brake Trouble

I am having trouble with the brakes on my MF 65. The right brake grabs and causes the wheel to lock up and stop turning instead of gradually coming to a slow stop. I have adjusted the brake play to the factory specs. It happens in reverse or forward. It seems like the brake is slow to release after it is locked up. I lubricated all of the external parts.

Does anybody have any ideas. It is dangerous to operate in its current condition. I really dont want to have to take it to a shop unless necessary.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks

this is not to uncomon ther are two cast plates with 4 ball bearings just the balls between the plates they work ase a spreder when you step on the brake pedal the balls get out of round and dry from dust plus the plates also ware the only sure fix is remove the axel housing to get at the brakes like 8 to 10 bolts and with a cheery picker remove the housing and you will find the plates held together with some springs also replace the dust seal on the brake rod
