I just purchased a 44 M.H. Model & SN.
44Gr21993 for a thousand dollars, completeley restored. No belt pulley but pto & hyd.,Everything works.
My question is what does the GR stand for.
Would I buy the operation manuels for the G model.
Is this a good by at a thousand dollars.
This is my first tractor on rubber.

I believe the G stands for gas, while the R stands for the row-crop (tricycle) wheel configuration. I'd say you did pretty good, especially if the rubber is OK.
