need advise and/or service literature on multi-power testing procedure as multi shifts on its own under load more often when warm
where do you test system pressure and how is pressure regulated?

If you are sure you are losing pressure you most likely will need to do a tear down of the trans. and do a visual check. The pressure regulating valve is located on top of the input shaft housing. You need to check for broken rings and worn ring grooves on the p.t.o. input shaft. You also need to check the p.t.o. input hsg. for wear where the rings ride in the hsg. If these parts are worn badly you will most likely come out better to do a conversion back to a standard 6 speed due to cost of parts. If you have a lot of trans. oil in the clutch hsg. it most likely is coming from around the p.t.o. input shaft. Converting back to a six speed is most times cheaper than fixing M.P. and also stops the free wheeling on hills.
