I have 2 large 1135/1105 MF tractors that hold
25+ gallons each & use 2 hyd. filters each.As everyone knows MF stuff is expensive so I would
like to know of a type hyd. fluid for these that
can be found at tractor supply or auto parts store A source of aftermarket filters would be very
helpful also

Chuck
I get my oil from cardwell distributors. It is AMOCO 1000. It goes for 25.00 for 5 gals. I have seen the Tractor hydraulic fluid in Sams club and have given it some thought, My MF-40 leaks a bit out of some hoses to the backhoe, but the cost of replacing the steel high pressure hoses hasn't warrented me to do so vs the cost of the fluid. I guess I had better check the fluid at Sams club. There is a Gentleman that retired from Massey as a mechanic, check the Archives and look for my questions about replacing the brake linnings just a month ago. This will give you his email address. He was very informed and could probably answer you question. I have his name, his email address and a web is listed under, Big Deans Massey Furgesons tips. Good luck.

I get "Tractor Hydraulic Fluid" in 5 gal. pails at SAM's Club, for about $14/pail. It's high quality and runs fine in my MF-2135 and my friend's fleet of heavy equipment. He uses it in excavators, dozers and loaders with no trouble over many years of business. Compared to the same product at over $36/pail at the tractor supply store, SAM's membership dues are paid for in one trip.

Best deal going.

I WOULD NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEM USING HYD. FLUID OTHER THEN M.F. ANY MAJOR OIL COMPANEYS TRACTOR HYD. FLUID IS OK TO USE.JUST BE SURE IT IS TRACTOR HYD. FLUID AND NOT JUST HYD. FLUID.MOST BRANDS SAY WHAT O.E.M. FLUIDS THEY REPLACE.

GOOD LUCK LANCE
