I'm new to this and need some help. Got 6+ acres but only cutting about 4. Also need to push some snow. I've run across a MF1010 (possible 1980-82)in great shape and low hrs. It has a 3 cy. diesel. What would the hp be? Does anyone know the history on these as to reliability etc.? What would the price range be for something like this? Is it big enough to do what I want? Any input would be helpful.
Thanks,

I am also looking at a 1987 MF-1010 to mow about 3 acres. The machine appears to be more than adequate for this type of work. Price is about 3500 in Tennessee.

MF1010 has 16 HP at the crank. Nice little tractor.
I've got an 86 1010 I've had for 10 years with 980 hours on it, getting ready to sell in NC.

We have a 1010 tractor and a 1023 deck as well and are having a hard time finding replacement parts for the tractor and deck. Does anyone have any input?
