I would like to know the carb part number for a Ferguson tractor TEA20 (85mm) made in 1950. It's a Zenith one. Is it possible to use another carb? Which one? Thanks

Hi Yves,

It is none of my business, but why do you need a new carb ?
There are parts for them if you need. I am rebuilding one that has been in a boat, full of saltwater. And I am using parts original ment for Ferguson.
Of course I have fixed my TED 20 carb. too.

This is if you have a Zenith 24 T2 carb.

I asked a carburettor service shop in Norway the same question you are asking on the net, and the answer I got was that there was no replacement carb. as they knew about. And that is one of the largest carb. service shops in Norway.

There may be possible to use a different carb. But it has to be tuned, and who knows which one to start with. You know, carbs. that sits that way is not very common today. Most carbs. works the other way, air in at top, and out in the bottom.

Can't give you carb. number either.... right away.
