THE BEST WAY TO REMOVE THE STEERING WHEEL IS TO TAKE A FINE THREADED BOLT AND NUT I THINK 3/4" .REMOVE NUT FROM SHAFT AND INSTALL NUT AND BOLT WITH NUT HALF WAY ON TO STEERING SHAFT AND THEN INSTALL BOLT AND TIGHTEN.YOU MUST US A NEW NUT BECAUSE THE NUT YOU REMOVE IS A HALF NUT.SIT ON SEAT AND PULL UP ON STERRING WHEEL HAVE SOME ONE HIT THE BOLT WITH A 4 LB. HAMMER.THE STEERING WHEEL SHOULD COME LOSE.YOU MAY WONT TO SPRAY WITH WD40 AND LET SIT OVER NIGHT BEFORE YOU START.IF YOU ARE JUST REPLACING A SHAFT SEAL YOU DONT HAVE TO REMOVE THE STEERING MOTOR FROM THE TRACTOR.GOOD LUCK LANCE
