Hi Guy,

Here comes some info.

This apply only to Standard engine.

Firing order 1 3 4 2
Valve clearance, Inlet 0.010 Exhaust 0.012
Breaker points. 0.016
Spark plug gap 0.029 - 0.031
Oil pressure 40 - 60 psi
Head bolt tension 70-74.5 lbs/ft
Main bearing caps. 89 - 94.5 lbs/ft
Rod bearing caps. 40 - 45 lbs/ft

The head bolt size should be 9/16" and please if you use the tension for
the main and rod bearing caps note the bolt size if it for some reason
should be wrong.
You see, I have all the tensions in kg/m, and have converted them.

At least the head bolt tension make sence, as I have compared it to other
bolts of the same size. But I don't have the bolt size for the other 2
tensions.

I am sorry I don't have the tightening order for the headbolts.
I would have started with the bolt under the rocker arm cover in center. Then the opposite one between rocker arm cover and manifold, then on the bolt to the left of the center bolt, then bolt between rocker arm cover to the right of center and further on in diagonal pattern out to the ends of the head.

Oh dear, was this explained badly..... my lousy English....

Hope this will help you.

Hi again,

Sorry, 2 posts ..... my messy fingers.

Anyway, I forgot the paint.

I have sent a paint sample to Canada, but it never seems to arrive. I guess I need to make more paint samples so I can send one to you too... then you may go to your local paint shop and have them mix something for you.

I am using a Massey Ferguson Light grey from a paint supplier in Denmark, shall be very similar to original.

I can give you my paint supplier name here in Norway, I have also a few in England.

I will not try to explain a color in text....

So, just let me know your choice.
