I changed the set screws (1 one top Large screw) and one on the side (small screw) becuase it was running rough one day. Now it fires for a second and then stops. Not sure if I caused this problem or not. Any suggestions on where I should position the screws/jets and start from scratch?

Thanks in advance

Cody, I been having carb problems with my 202, driving me crazy. (Mine was flooding, gas pouring out). I found out more about the Marvel carbs on the Ford 8-9N board here...do a search on carbs or flooding or whatever. Not sure if that's your problem, but since you asked...;-)

I bought a rebuild kit a coupla days ago, and rebuilt it today. The instructions say to start with both jets at one turn out (that's what the 8N guru said too). The little one on the side is for the idle, and the larger on the front is for the full-speed/under load setting. Float level is supposed to be 9/32 from the gasket to the bottom of the floats, when you hold it upside down. Some say "more than 1/4" and less than 5/16", which is the same really. Hope this helps...my flooding stopped, but it still don't run. More fiddling I guess!
Mike
