I have a 165 that has not had the 3 point used in years. The tractor ran an implement off the tractor hydrolic pump using remotes. Now I'm making it a farm tractor again. The rockshaft is intact, but had covers over the splines. I've installed the arms, etc. but they are in the up position and won't go down. I'm about to go into the housing to see what's going on. Is there something that might have been done to disable the rockshaft when the remote was installed, or does someone have another suggestion on what I should look for? Thanks

I WOULD THINK THAT THE PISTON IS RUSTED TO THE LIFT CYCLINDER.I WOULD PUT SOME WEIGHT ON THE LIFT ARMS AND SEE IF THIS BREAKS IT LOOSE.YOU COULD REMOVE THE HYD.TRANSFER CAP FROM UNDER THE SEAT AND TRY TO SPRAY SOME W/D40 IN TO THE LIFT CYCLINDER.GOOD LUCK LANCE
