Can someone help me? I have tried and tried to stop the leak on the hydroics where the lines go into the hydrolic cylinder. I have put new O-ring,new gaskets and every gasket sealer I can think of. Some times I can get it to stop leaking for a little while but it seams like when I really work it hard it leaks. Does the grade of oil make a differnce? I think I have tried this about 40 some times and I am starting to get mad.

My oil line is neoprene and has the pivot joint
where it attaches. Is there a fitting that the line goes into (like mine) or does it go in directly into the
threaded hole of the cylinder. Are the threads crossthreaded maybe? That'll do the problem, and hope that's not the cause and
hope the casting isn't cracked either. If it's cracked, calls for draining and brazing with an eye out for distortion. The only thing I can think of is thread sealer
made for hydro. Make sure there is absolutly no
oil on the thread and try it again, let it dry a day with a little heat applied, don't overtighten. I would use male/female fittings in the holes, the ones that have a hex grab for wrenches. Use the thread stuff on them. That'll save wear and tear on the cylinder, then put in the line after. There's about 1300 lbs pressure there so your
not talking high pressure, relatively speaking.

Good Luck.
