Mike,

Did you ever read my reply to your question about the John Deere Pedal Tractor?

Hi Stan, yes I did and thank you. This little peddal tractor is sitting right behind me here in our computer room. My daughter wants some antique toys to decorate her new son's room so I have come up with a Marx pressed steel dump truck, a Lincoln pressed steel cement mixer and a pressed steel riding train that I have not been able to identify. It is about 24" long and about 10" high by about 10" wide. I think it looks like European trains of the 50's so I suspect it may have come from Europe, perhaps with an immigrant family. There are no visible trademarks on it, it had a headlight run by batteries and the light switch on the leftside, it is very aerodynamic in appearance. I've had it in the garage for about 25 years and now its one of my projects to get restored. I've tried every site I can find on toy trains, antique riding toys, antique toys...just can't find one like it.I did stumble on an Ertyl peddal tractor, that someone had painted grey and didn't know what it was...Ertyl Farmall, all intact but with a horrible paint job for $125..not interested though...thanks again Stan...Mike in Exeter Ontario

Mike,

Ignore my post to you over on the Implement Alley board. My prior thoughts on the value are still valid, I've found out.

Best regards,

Stan
