Hi I have a toy metal tractor, it weighs about 1 1/2 pounds. On the side of it there is a decal that says "1710 Ford". This is all the information there is on the tractor. With this little info could anybody tell me anything about it. It is very played with.
Thank you

Vicki,

Boy, do I have that Mitch guy fooled - LOL!

Seriously, I think he's right about $50 CAN being high. The price guide I have used for 15 years defines "Excellent" as having no paint chips, no missing parts, and as looking like it had just come out of the box and never been played with. There were a couple of different models, but the "excellent" price goes from $10 to $15 (US funds).

I think your friend might be a little disappointed.

Good luck, and listen to Mitch - LOL!

I don't know where Stan is, so I'll try to help you (Stan should think that is funny).

I think the 1710 is a 1/16 scale toy. The real one would be a small garden/yard tractor, around 15 - 25 horse power. Great little tractors for people with a LARGE yard to maintain. They had live pto and cat. "0" or cat "1" 3-point hitch.

Similar size and use as a Cub Farmall.

Hope this helps. What are your plans for the tractor?

Mitch

Hi Mitch A lady wants me to sell it for her. She wants $50.00 Canadian at least for it. Do you think that is a good price, too much too little?
Thanks Mitch
Vicki

I've misplaced my price guide, but if it's the tractor I think it is, I'd say she's a might high.

Stan will be on here later - he can tell you.
