See you post quite a bit on here. Do you just collect, or do you do any custom/repair work?

I have a handful that I plan to keep, but I mostly repair/restore and customize. I like to find the tractors that have been played down in the sand box, and rebuild them.

Thought I'd speak,
Mitch

Mitch,

Thanks for the note. I mostly collect, although I've slowed down a lot in the last few years. I started out collecting tractors and implements from when I was growing up on a 215 acre hog and grain farm in Indiana ('40s and '50s). I got a bit beyond that a long time ago, and have tried to thin out my shelves/closets a little bit lately.

I have done some rebuilding/restoring/repainting over the years, primarily some older original items (JD 60, my own closed flywheel A, and a few others).

If you're looking for anything, drop me an e-mail at Indillia@AOL.com and I'll e-mail you a list of what I have to get rid of at the moment.

I don't claim to be an expert at all, but I have done a lot of reading and gathering information in the past 15 years (Toy Farmer and Toy Tractor Times articles for the most part). Maybe I could help you with info on some older toys.

Best regards,

Stan

Stan,

I'm involved with a small group of serious collectors here in Mississippi. We've had 3 or 4 small shows, but they seem to be growing. Got one coming up in Feb.
I've loved tractors and equipment all my life. Worked on two neighbor farms for about ten years. Re-claiming my grandfather's place in my spare time now. Started playing with toys again about 4 years ago.
I'll shoot you an e-mail from my work address about that list.

Talk to you later,
Mitch
