I recently came across a number of old JD books and was wondering where I could find out their value. I have a hardcover "The Operation and Repair of Farm machinery 28th Edition" John Deere 15 Rotary chopper, John Deere No12a Combine -Setup manual - engine and operators manuals, John Deere 33 Spread Operators Manual.

Thanks

Toni,

I did a quick search in ebay and found two 28th Edition Operation, Care, etc. books. They were both in the $10 range.

These books go back to 1927, and, like any other book, the older the more valuable.

Toni,

Finding values on books and manuals is iffy at best. The Operation, Care & Repair book is the last edition published. The best way to determine value is to do a search on ebay for Deere +Operation and see what they're bringing.

The others will vary, with the 12-A combine manual being the most valuable - possibly $25-$50, but that's only a wild guess. You might look on ebay for Deere books and manuals.

Good luck,

Stan
