I ran across a Great Lakes tractor in my continuing search for a David Bradley tractor last week. It is at a motorcycle junkyard here in Ohio. It has a sickle bar attachment and the engine is locked up but might be a good parts donor?? Let me know if you want more info and also if you have any leads on any David Bradleys and/ or attachments.

Eric

I share a Post Office with Rock Creek, Ohio and have a little information on the Great Lakes Tractor Company. The Buildings are still there, but the factory is defuncted. The Ashtabula County County Antique Engine club is featuring the products of this company at its Summer show, July 4th, 5th , & 6th 2003. We are hoping to get as many as possible there and obtain even more information then. It is our understanding that some of the people went to Hartstown, PA and built some of the same tractors under the Chief name.

I recently found a complete chief engine in my grandfathers garage. It has a unique gear box with pulley mounted right to the block. It looks as though it has not run in fifty years? Does it have any value?
