I bought a case eagle cast iron bank recently and am wondering if it is a reproduction. It is 8 1/2 inches tall and is painted. I can provide on-line pictures if needed. Any help will be appreciated! Thanks!!!

I also have a bank such as you describe and am looking for information on it. I contacted case and they haven't found a record on it yet but said they have a room full of records that noone has gone through. If they find any information they will let us know. If you find out anything please email me. We got our bank in Oquawka Illinois. Where did you get yours?

I bought a case cast iron eagle penny bank from an antique dealer in 1996 for 65 dollars.the reason it is called a penny bank is because any coin larger then a penny will not fit in it.I think it was made in the 1940,s as an advertising promotion and i belive that they are quit rare. I am still reserching it and would be happy to keep you posted.
