I have a 1940 B that my grandpa bought new. It has a pair of fenders that I assume came with the tractor. I was wondering what they are worth. (I don't want to sell them or the tractor.) They aren't perfect, have a crack in the bottom, rear, have alot of origional paint, can still see some of the yellow stripe on edges. I plan on getting tractor running again so will need some advice next summer. Thanks for the information.

Don't sell 'em unless you're getting cold, tired or hungry and they were never painted yellow anywhere on them at the factory. JMHA

Yes, the fenders are worth $500 or more if they are original JD round top fenders.

Someone told me that the fenders were as valuable as the tractor and I find that hard to believe.
