We have bought some new machinery that requires dual hydraulic outlets-our 3020 has single. What are the best ways to add outlets I suppose economics verses ease of install verses volume there will be quite a bit of difference.I was kind of hoping to be able to just add another valve to existing to keep it "original" if pump can handle it and it is not too expensive.Any ideas are welcome and appreciated.

Hi Kevin, You can fit a valve chest comprised of a number of "slices" or valves, you can always add another "slice" if you want. Just use longer bolts to add the extra ones, or threaded bar. I put on a "monoblock" type chest on my 3140, 3 double acting valves. This was made in Italy, name on it is Hidroirma, and was suitable for both open and closed centre systems. For closed J.D systems there was a little plug you screwed into the body of the valve chest. Then you screwed the relief valve on the chest "in" fully, so no oil could bypass it. This has worked perfectly since installed about 8 years ago. only half the price of the type you can add the "slices" to.(Here in Ireland 'Kontak" is the standard type, fitted to Ford's etc) Hope this is some help,

Another option if you don't mind putting an auxilliary valve on it. Plumb it like a loader with hydraulic valves on it. Get an closed center valve, run pressure hose to line from front pump, usually you can T in judt ahead of the dash on the right side. Run return line to trans filter housing. You can buy a special cover with outlet from deere or make one. You can add as many remove valves as you want that way, just be sure to get closed center valves.

Depends on how much you want to spend, i would get one of those 2 way valves that allows you to operate 2 circuits on one remote. We bought a 4020 (dash controls) at an auction several years ago that only had 1 remote. The dealer wanted almost $1200 for the valve, lines and the remote on the back of the tractor. We eventually found one on a salvage tractor that was burned for $100.

What year is the 3020 has it got the hydraulic lever by the seat or on the dash ? If they are by the seat you can add another outlet from a salvage yard . Or you can get the power beyond plate to put behind the outlet you have to run mutiple controls like on many loaders or you can get the selinoid type that run with electric switchs You can also put more outlets on the early 3020 but you would have to add some lines
