I got mine from Roberts Carb Repair in Spencer Iowa (712) 262-5311 www.robertscarbrepair.com they were the extra long # 40 and # 53 used to drill out the passages to the right size located behind the 3 brass drill plugs on our A and B tractors single barrell carbs. His web page under a Technical Link has a pic of those carbs, but I dont think he has any 40 carb breakdowns. In addition, the other passages I use guitar strings or mig welding wire etc to clean them out. On the duplex carbs, the hardest part was removing the ball plugs to even first get to the passages, and thats a whole different carb and story from the single barrell units discussed above I used his bits on. Those bits are the correct size for the single barrell carbs (not sure if they are right or for use on any duplex passages??). I rebuilt my 620 duplex carb and removed the ball plugs to clean all its passages, but unless one were very experienced, I wouldnt try and talk them through that procedure here on the net. The roberts web site has a lot of info on both single and duplex carbs. Good Luck and God Bless Ol John T

I just ordered 2 bits for my carb. Robert sent a diagram showing which passages usually plug. I was amazed at how much old rust came out when I ran the bits through the passages. I am a believer that a wire will not do the trick.
