Seems like everyone is pretty quick to complain these days, but no one wants to take the time to say "job well done".
I just got the Duplex carb off my late 60 back from Burrey's Carb and it works great! I am VERY impressed with the job he did; and having him test run it before he shipped it back didn't hurt matters either.
I don't know if anyone from Burrey's even reads this bulletin board, but they certainly have my vote for GREAT work and a quick turnaround at fair prices.

I sent a DLTX10 to Treadwell in NY with the bowl threads completely gone, various parts missing, and in BAD shape. He got it back to me amazingly fast, looking new, working perfect, for about the same money as "others" wanted just to fix bowl threads. Have dealt with him on other carbs, parts, and kits and have to say he does good work and is VERY reasonable. Anyone have anything good or bad to say about them?

John

Al,

I agree 100%!! Doug did my '41 B carb and it came back better than from the factory, I'd guess. Price was right, service was quick, and I highly recommend them too.

Stan,

Ha! Ha! Steve
I didn't tell Doug I was a "Hawkeye" when I sent it in for repair!
By the way, "that Alford guy" you folks sent over here is doing a pretty good job! Thanks : )
