I can get a 4010 with 600 hours since major overhaul now has 4020 upgrade kit in engine no leaks powershift ,endloader and a small snowblower and cab.Looks ok tires are 80-90% for 13000.00, think that I can do better? It is a diesel and says it runs like a top. Anything to look out for?
thanks

You can find nice 4430s for sale for that money - better cab, better tranny, better engine and the list goes on. I think I'd pass on this one, unless it was absolutely immaculate and perfect in every way.

What brand of loader is on it? That is a little high but consider the value of the tractor plus what you are also getting with it. How does it run? Is the cab in good shape? Does the radio, heater, etc. work? Look on the frame for cracks or just unusual things that whould show up from loading very heavy objects. You may be able to do better but I don't know what the exact shape of the tractor is in. These 4010's/4020's are very good tractors and will run forever if maintained properly.

Fred, I would consider $7500 to be top dollar for a 4010, and unless this one is a STANDARD or a HIGH CROP, I can't see where it is worth $13,000 unless the loader is brand new!

$10,500 would be reasonable money for an average houred 4020. For $13,000 I'd want a tractor with UNDER 2000 hopurs on it. Pass on this one.

The tractor sounds like it would be a good one, but the price should be a Maximum of half that.

How do you get a powershift transmission in a 4010? They were all synchro. True 4020 is not worth $13000.

You haven't been in New Jersey lately . . . . I traded a 1966 4020. They gave me $8000, put a little work in it, and sold it for $12,000 in 2 months. . . . .
