Aftermarket Thermostat for Model 60

Has anyone ever found a source for an aftermarket thermostat that crosses to Deere's #AA5750R (It's the one rated for 180 degrees)? Deere is VERY proud of their unit - $105!!!
A local parts house had a Stant (sp?) that was supposed to work, but it was too small in diameter and the mounting flange was too thick.
Gates supposedly has a cross to their part number 33388 but I have not seen one yet.

Hey, little dab will do ya, at those prices I'd cobble up a unit that used three standard automotive thermostats instead. Of course that's not an option if you show or restore. Sizes might help us find one for you.
