Was the H ever equipped with a float ride seat? In my recollection, I have never seen one. Also, when the H officially retired?

Serial number 61116 was the last H, built February 6, 1947..... ...shipped to Storm Lake, Iowa.

Rich,
Where were you able to get delivery information on the last H. I've been looking for a reference for delivery information, but have not found anything other than asking the two-cylinder club or Deere for a search on a specific tractor.

Just wondering.

Rich, the only source of delivery information is through Deere Archives. However, data on the last H (as well as the first, and also some of the rare - meaning HNH - models) has been published by both Green Magazine and Two-Cylinder, and they got their information from the Archives - particularly when the Archives were more accessible.

Wind, the H was always furnished with the standard AD 1606 R steel seat that was used on the other letter series tractors of that era. H's were built from 1939 through 1947.
