Depends a little on which transmission, SR or PS. I would say it is in line. I bought a gas SR 2 years ago that ran great for $6300. Last year I bought a gas PS in excellent condition for $7000. then bought the correct carb. for it and also paid $1950. for a good 48 loader. I would certainly not consider selling it for any where close to that price. It is a super tractor and the side console is great with the loader.

It's like Larry said, it depends whether it's a power-shift or syncro. I bought a '72 gas PS for $11,500 and '72 gas syn. for around $7200 (it only had 2300 hrs.!). But your tractor is most likely a '69 or '70. A good tractor like that alone will bring $6000 to $7000 and the loader is worth about $1500 give or take. A '71 or '72 gas is probaly worth about $7500 to $8500. All this info is how much it would bring in my area, NE Nebraska.

I sold my 2520 gas for 5300 at auction back in 95. it had been overhauled at the dealer, paint was dim. I was well pleased at the time. then when I decided I needed a tractor after all, found one priced at 10000!! never saw the thing. bought a 3020 diesel for 8500. with the loader IF the tractor has been overhauled at sometime along the way...tires? 90 day all parts and labor? maybe that's not too bad. wait a month and see if he won't take 6500...// mine was an excellent tractor and served me well for 17 years. They hold their value. whatever you do ---don't buy anything but a JOHN DEERE!
