I just got done overhauling this engine and I have oil to rocker arms but no oil to the push rods at the rocker arm cups. Can anyone explain to me how these cups get there lube? Thanks

Rich, the oil to the rocker area drops on the exhaust valve rocker arms & from there it is thrown around by splash & the moving rocker arms. Oil mist in the crankcase & rocker area also helps to lube the parts that don't have direct oiling.
~For the moving parts in the rocker area to oil initially & to remain oiled while working the RPM's will have to kept up above slow idle [slow moving parts won't splash much if any oil]. Oil additives also effect the splash oiling & any additives that you add to make oil cling [like the stuff you see on the auto parts counter with the gears] can impede oil splashing & effect valve train oiling.

Don't wory there will be enough oil flying around in the cover to handle this.
