Folks:

I ruined the ignition switch lever for my 70D this evening. Don't ask how....well, okay, so I was trying to ream out a small burr in the counterbore, it caught on the bit, and I drilled the two flats right out of the sucker !

So, I'd like to have a new one, or at least a proper used one. The part is shown as supplied by Deere ($7.00) but it's a sub number, and I'm afraid that it won't look the same.

Anyone out there have one from a 40/50/60/70/80, 420/520/620/720/820, 430/530/630/730/830/840, gas or diesel ?

I know it's not a usual part that a fella has to replace.

Thanks in advance !

Gene:

There are some really fine folks on this board !

As Forest Gump would have said, "And that's all I have to say about that !"

Frank.....I have several extra ones. I'll drop one in the mail tomorrow. No charge, just glad to help out a fellow 70D owner. Later.

Bruce:

Yoodaman.....

I pressed piece of brass in it, redrilled it, and it's holding all right, but I surely appreciate you sending me one.

Thanks bud.
