I recently purchased a 1955 model 60, needs some minor work but looks and runs good. The tractor also has what looks like a factory 3-point hitch, how can I tell? The arms were once removable but one is rusted in and the other has been welded. The arms look like they stick out about 8-10 inches from where they are supposed to be but if they were all the way in I could not hook on to my brush hog. The center link mount bracket is under the battery box. Is this where they were? It seems to high.

Thanks for the info
Wayne

The tractors did not come with a three point hitch from factory. There are two arms that come along side battary box with a cross bar with a hole in it. The hitch is called 800, 800A, 801,I think there were four diffrent ones made. You need a hook on your mower for the top link.
