Help with Prestolite Distributor

Need help I have a JD1010 with a prestolite
distributor, I need the plastic insulator where
the points and condenser tie together. My JD parts
man says no longer available. Does anyone know
of a supplyer where I can buy this part.
Please any help

I purchased the point assy a couple of years ago...probably just the one item isn't available but the assy should be available and it was reasonable.....check again with the dealer...they use the same thing in combine engines....

I got a complet breaker plate asembly for one in a 2510 last year from a fellow that rebuilds starters and generators. He had acess to prestolite parts. You will need the prestolite part number.
