I changed some gears and am ready to put on the reduction cover. Is there anything i need to put on first to do with the clutch, or can all the clutch parts be put back on afterwards. I read the other day about someone doing this and had to take back off, trying not to have to do that. Thanks, Ken.

Ken, Don't forget to put the spacer in behind the out side bearing, I had to pull mine off last week again, when I could not get the cotter pin back in,I was trying to put the spacer in the wrong place, lucky for me I did not have the clutch on.Good Luck Ben

Ken, don't forget the cam bearing spring between the cover & R/H cam bearing. Don't install the input shaft [drive gear] outer bearing until after the housing is installed. Be very careful when installing the cover that you don't jamb the small idler gear [oiler gear] in the lower cover when installing the cover. If you are using the new type multi-piece cover gasket make sure to use sealer on the joints. I usually glue the gasket to the cover & use sealer on the whole gasket. If you have the late cover, leave the top & bottom little clutch stop bolt access covers off until after you install the pulley & clutch parts so you can set the clutch fork stop bolt clearance.
