Our tractor club is looking for activities to do at our meetings. While we can get our tractors out for various things in the summer time and visit other's collections, in the winter time we are in need of things to do at our meetings to keep interest going. What are some of you folks around the country doing? Hope to get a discussion going. Mike

I can think of one thing that I 'd like to see our
club do... I'd like to see a 'scrap book' made, containing
each member's tractor(s) photo, maybe even with the member standing with it. I think it would look great with just a 3 x 5
color photo and maybe a brief caption describing
something about the photo. If the member had - say - 30 tractors, maybe
he'd (she'd) pick out their favorite one. It would be a great thing to take around when
you are featured as a guest at someone else's show
and you want to do a little promotion. pb

in our club it is part of the last yr of the bourd of directors to line up the speekers for the meetings. with help from the membership. with our club we have had speakers form major corps that are in the area, one that we have is we have a DOT officer come in everyear an give a speak on the new laws pertaining to hauling of the tractors, an the proper way of securment. he will also tell you about insurance requirements an license requirements. your local state will have a officer that, that is basically all he does. at least most i have seen do. it will help alot. if you are in Iowa i have the officers number if you want it. an he might know of the other surrounding states, but call your dot office an they will help. i hope that helps email me if you want some more ideas johndeeregene
