Can someone tell me how long the original bucket cylinders were on these loaders? I inherited mine with a dump bucket. Converted it to a single cylinder hydraulic(in the center) but want to go with the 2 cylinder setup like used by factory. Thanks for info

Dan,
I worked for a Deere dealer at the time the 35
loaders were built. With a little research I think
I can find the size of the cylinders. The 35
loaders were known for bending the piston rods on
the bucket cylinders. They were just too small to
handle the load. Roger

That could be. They were a really long cylinder as they hooked up on the same mount as the lift cylinders only on the inside. I used a single cylinder from the front cross member to bucket. Had to move bucket out a bit by adding new mounts on the back and have torn up the cross member. It just wasn't that heavy even for my 430 jd. Thanks for any help

Dan, I found the specs on the bucket cylinders:
Bore 1.701 in, stroke 24.875 in, closed length 34.5 in, early piston rod 0.875 in, later piston rod 1.125 in, pin 0.75 in Roger
