I am working on a 41 model(I think I read the tag right?), anyhow. I am wanting to pull the hydraulics off of it at least temporarily. Will anything fall out of the governor housing when its removed? I got it with some of the bolts allready taken out so it may have been taken off allready. I was thinking of just taking the hyd. off for good adn replacing iwth the cover. Any ideas or opinions?

Gary, It takes a bullet nose cover to use when you have the long shaft for the hydraulics. The covers are hard to find and expensive.

there is a cage bearing in there that might fall out if not careful the inner race for it stays on gov shaft and outer race stays in pump housing after you get the bolts out i have to get a pry bar and give a quick pry and the bearing will separate.
