I recently bought a 1967 JD 3020D. I am having problems keeping the front tires up (thorns). One has a tube the other does not. Can I run both of these tires tubeless? Why would one have a tube and the other not? Thanks for the help.

put some aircraft tires on it thorns will not puncture them...gensco in houston tx..1-800 no flats...they also sell a good tire sealer that is lot cheaper than slime...don't know what size you need but they get $68 for a 9.5L-15 with rim and sealer has 16 plies tread and sidewall...try them ag tires since 1953...have nice day may god bless

if you are goin to use it around the thorns very much you should in vest in either filling the tires with foam, or put alot of slime in them. slime is a liquid that you put in the tires an it will stop a leak. it has a goop an fiberglass in it. johndeeregene

Probably the tire was tubeless and had a hole in it. The tire was patched and needed a tube because the patch leaked air.

Find a pair of steel wheels and afroengineer them to fit, They won't go flat
