There was a post a couple of months ago about installing a JD hydraulic pump on a JD D. Someone wrote there was an installation booklet printed by Deere that had all needed part numbers and complete diagrams of hose routing. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of this? Thanks.

Donny:

Don't know if you ever got an answer to your quest for info on a book for part numbers etc. .

I am writing because I have found a perfect source for the info you had been looking for and then some. You can find anything you need at www.jdtechinfo.com on line. That is the on line bookstore for JD manuals. They are great people there and were a great help when I needed manuals for my 400 backhoe. I got EVERYTHING I needed on disks and at what I thought was a reasonable price. You have several choices of material. Book, CD, electronic, and price varies with choice. Scott was extreamly helpful, as was the girl taking the order.

I am sure that this is to late to help you with your posted question but keep this in mind for the future, if you still have the machine look into their service manuals.

Regards Ralph
