I wanna give my unstyled A some new pistons soon and I would like some input on what to do.It is still hand crank.what setup would give me some thump? Also, will a late model manifold fit my block? Mine still has that big vaporizer on it and it leaks a little.Any help will be appreciated.

Get yourself some .045 or .090 alum from one of the many venders in green mag.Henrich i think is one.You my have to rebush or bore pin bushings on the rod.If you dont drive it in cold weather put a cold manifold on it.port and polish wont hert if just cleaning the flashing off the inside of the head and manifold.Make sure the air cleaner is good and clean, a lot of s>*# can stick in the mesh.36 A

If it runs good, leave it alone. Put a new gasket under the manifold and enjoy the smell of spent Kerosene. If you want to make a hot rod get a Moline, no body wants them anyway. [ just kidding ]
