I know a 2755 ain't antique, but right now it won't start, so that makes it similar! I could sure use a complete wiring schematic for a 2755 John Deere if anyone has one they could post/send me. There's an electrical short somewhere between the batteries and the cab (nothing in the cab works). If somebody could help me out, I'd sure appreciate it. Thanks guys.

Since this is a cab tractor, a common problem is a printed circuit board in behind the tachometer in the dash. The contacts get dirty, corroded or too much resistance burns up the circuit in the board. Recently I had a 2355 that wouldn't start unless it was jumped accross the starter solenoid. The problem was in the circuit board. The problem I ran into there was that the new board was redesigned so that some wiring needed to be modified according to instructions supplied with the new board. There was apparently some misinformation in the instructions as it did not work. I ended up having to do my own modification so that the starting circuit bypassed the card but still included the neutral start switch. I never did get the instructions straightened out with Deere yet, but hopefuly that will be soon to come. Good luck!
