Hi Kenneth: Van told you about the lye. You can also use Drano in a pinch, but it's more expensive and it has some Magnesium Sulphate in it that is tougher to dissolve. I buy my lye (it doesn't have to be "Red Devil" brand) at my local Publix Supermarket. I have also seen it at Lowe's and Home Depot in the drain cleaner section of the plumbing department. I have also found it at Ace Hardware. It really should be in the same area as the Drano. Calcium Carbonate, also known as Washing Soda, or Soda Ash, can be found in the laundry detergent section or your supermarket. Arm & Hammer makes the product I use. It's in a yellow Arm & Hammer box. DO NOT USE BAKING SODA. The results will not be acceptable. You can buy Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda on the web at>Link The>Link Phosphoric Acid that I use is a greenish liquid, with a viscosity about half-way between water and dish soap. It generally comes in quarts and gallons (a gallon will last a long time or do about one very rusty tractor...). I have found Phosphoric Acid most recently at my local Home Depot in the paint prep chemicals section, and the name of the product was "PH-OSPHO-RIC PLUS+�. I have also purchased a product called "Metal-Prep" at a car show, and it is now carried at my local Bumper to Bumper dealer. "OSPHO" is a brand that is carried at many automotive paint supply stores (like your local DuPont retailer). I bought another product called �THE RIGHT STUFF METAL DE-RUSTER� at the local Discount Auto Parts. They have since been purchased by Advance Auto Parts, and now they only to carry it at some stores in quarts. �THE RIGHT STUFF METAL DE-RUSTER� is manufactured by CLI, and they have a web site :>Link It�s about $7.00 a quart, and $14.00 per gallon.
