Help Finding our '37 JD A

Am looking for Grandpa's '37 A. Dad sold in '70-'72 time frame. Guy said he was going to restore it. Don't have serial number. Bought in '37 from dealership in Blue Grass IA. All we have is the umbrella & op manual, would like the tractor to complete the set. Any way to find it?

That's going to be pretty tough to find without a serial number. How will you be able to identify it if you did find a 37 A?

I've been wondering the same thing. We've got a couple really good pictures of it, but that's all. The current owner needs to know the history would be the only way. Is there somewhere to post a question like that with all the history of the A & a picture? I found Dad's old Case LA just by asking around for 2 years.
