What needs to come off to reach radiator?

I need to replace the radiator on the '51 A. Do I have to take the long hood off or just the front grill piece? What else needs to come off?

Thanks and Merry Christmas.

The grills, the hood, the air cleaner assy, upper water pipe, and shroud all need to be off before removing the radiator. From experience: makesure you have a U joint socket for the 4 bolts that bolt the bottom tank into the frame; be prepared to alter EVERY hole in the flanges at the top and bottom of the core where they bolt to the tanks, on after market cores they NEVER line up; if you do not have a water pump system, make sure you get one of the cores with more tubes because the tubes are much smaller than were in the originals (they use the same tubes now as they use in automotive applications) and they will not allow the thermosyphon system to work; if you have a themosyphon, use QUALITY coolant, we just changed the core in our '48 A, put in some bargain coolant, and it wouldn't circulate, drained and used Prestone, and it works fine. Probably you have a waterpump if you have a '51? Pete

Started the project today. My '51 does not have a waterpump. I had an M&W pump on the tractor, however the bearing failed. Where could I get these bearings?

Thanks for any input.
