my buddy decided to challenge me with his 1954 farmall super MTA against my 1957 john deere 620...we tried the 4 bottom plow but they both did an equal good job with the plow so the only other option was drawbar to drawbar.. he said he would take it easy on me because there was no way my slow rpm 620 was gonna pull his high rpm farmall, well we hooked up and he jumped the gun and started pulling a little early i had both feet on the brakes and the 620 did not budge he was spinning and digging a hole by the time i let loose of my hand clutch i was in 3rd gear and gave the throttle all she had i didnt even look back i had pulled him out of his hole he had dug and drug him about 10 feet when all of a sudden something on the farmall busted loose and his wheels just rolled easily....his tranny was a complete mess!!! well i hope he is still my friend have not heard from him since. merry christmas!!!!!
