What is a 5010 JD worth?Straight tin decent tires but a noise in the engine.I know the engine will make me or break me,but if its not too serious, is the beast worth making an offer on? What is the cubic inch and are parts avaible?I know green is the color of money but surely it shouldnt break the bank, should it?Thanks,David

The 5010 had a 531 naturally aspirated engine that was 121 hp. They were great pulling tractors and there were alot of them in my area. We paid $5,500 for a 5010 with cozy cab, 3 hydralic outlets, 3-point, and PTO. Engine had 6,000 hrs on it. That was two years ago and the tractor hasn't had one seconds downtime. The previous owner had a turbo-charger on it but he took it off because of overheating problems. As far as breaking the bank goes, around here 5010/5020s go for about 1/2 to 2/3 the price of 4020s. You can also get a 6030 for same price of a 4020.
