Does anyone know how the percentage of weight the 730D had on the back wheels as compared to Super MTA, Oliver 880, or maybe UB Moline?

Two wheel drive bias ply tired tractors are supposed to weight between 115 to 145 lbs per pto HP. Static weight is to be 65/45 rear front for drawbar loads. Travel speed at 100% engine rpm and at 80% max HP is to be between 3 to 5 mph.

J D two cylinders were 70/30. Others were 50/50

Thanks for the information.

We farmed a long time with Molines. I was always amazed at how different the rear tire tracks looked on a John Deere two cylinder and the Moline. The John Deere track was always full width where the Moline was not so full. It had to be the extra weight on the rear of the John Deere that made the difference.

When watching the two cylinders on the balance beam, they usually balance fore/aft with the crankshaft being the centerline.
